Rejlersin virtuaalinen etävalvontatyökalu parantaa työturvallisuutta kentällä

Rejlersin Accelerated Operations -palvelu on digitaalinen laadunvarmistustyökalu rakennushankkeisiin, teollisuuden ja kiinteistöjen käyttöön. Accelerated-ohjelma rakentaa digitaalista tulevaisuutta ja tuo markkinoille uusinta teknologiaa ja perinteistä toimialaosaamista yhdistäviä kokonaisratkaisuja.

Kuvamallipalvelun ja 360-kameran avulla saadaan ajan tasalla olevaa näkymää työmaalta lähes reaaliajassa. Tämä mahdollistaa nopean tiedon saamisen, jolloin matkustaminen paikan päälle ei ole enää välttämätöntä. Palvelu vähentää riskejä ja käyttökatkoksia parantaen merkittävästi työturvallisuutta kentällä.

- Palvelu on helppokäyttöinen ja työmaanäkymän saa tuotettua jo ensimmäisenä päivänä palvelun käyttöönoton jälkeen, kertoo Rejlersin Accelerated Operations –palvelujen Business Unit Manager Jaakko Larvanto.

Accelerated Operations -etävalvontatyökalu toimii internetselaimella ja on käytettävissä niin tietokoneella, tabletilla kuin puhelimellakin. Palvelun on kehittänyt Rejlersin Digitalisaatio ja ICT –palveluiden asiantuntijaryhmä.

- Palvelussa on paljon ominaisuuksia, joilla käyttäjät pystyvät tehostamaan toimintaansa, tiedon etsimiseen käytettyä aikaa sekä kommunikoimaan aivan kuin olisivat työmaalla paikan päällä, Larvanto sanoo. - Työmaalla pitää olla vain 360-kamera, ja paikalla oleva henkilö voi toteuttaa virtuaalisen näkymän koko projektikonsortiolle.

Yhteistyöprojekteissa Rejlersin työmaavalvoja tekee Accelerated Operations-palveluun viikoittain virtuaalisen työmaanäkymän 360-kameralla, jonka hän jakaa kaikille projektikonsortion henkilöille. Tämä vähentää turhaa matkustusta kaikilta projektin osapuolilta.

- Eritoten nyt pandemian aikana saadaan turhia kontakteja vältettyä merkittävästi, mutta näen, että käytäntö tulee jäämään myös tulevaisuudessa projektityömaille. Ohjelmisto tarjoaa aivan uudenlaisen tavan kommunikoida ja tehdä havaintoja työmailla, lisäksi dokumentointi eri työvaiheista on ottanut valtavan harppauksen, kertoo Rejlersin teollisuustoimialan projektipäällikkö Pasi Ahvenainen.

Virtual remote control tool by Rejlers improves occupational safety on the site

The virtual remote control tool developed by Rejlers Finland Oy proves its value in the era of telecommuting. The service solution, bearing the name Accelerated Operations, enables a 360-degree view of the worksite to the entire project consortium.

The Accelerated Operations service by Rejlers is a digital quality assurance tool for construction projects, intended for the use of industry and properties. The Accelerated programme builds towards a digital future and designs comprehensive solutions that combine the latest technology with traditional competence in the sector.

The image model service and the 360-degree camera will provide an up-to-date view of the worksite, almost in real time. This way, information is available quickly and travelling to the site will no longer be necessary. The service reduces risks and downtime and greatly improves occupational safety on the site.

“The service is easy to use, and the worksite view will be available on the first day after the service is commissioned,” says Business Unit Manager Jaakko Larvanto from Rejlers’ Accelerated Operations services.

The Accelerated Operations remote control tool is used through an internet browser and can be used on computers, tablet devices and mobile phones alike. The service was developed by the expert group of Rejlers’ Digitalisation and ICT services.

“The service has many functionalities that enable the users to make their operations more efficient, cut down the time spent on searching information and communicate with others as if they were there, on the site,” Larvanto says. “The worksite only needs a 360-degree camera and a person on-site who can transmit the virtual view to the entire project consortium.”

In partner projects, for example, Rejlers’ worksite supervisor will use the 360-degree camera to create a weekly virtual worksite view into the Accelerated Operations service, which they will then share with all the people in the project consortium. This will reduce the number of unnecessary trips for all project parties.

“This is a great way to significantly reduce unnecessary contacts especially now, during the pandemic, but I believe that this practice will continue on project sites also in the future. This software provides a whole new way of communicating and making observations on worksites, and the documentation of different work stages has taken a giant leap forward, too,” says Project Manager Pasi Ahvenainen from Rejlers’ industry sector.
